Event Planning & Coordination

Handled commercial and small-scale events from planning to execution.

Responsibilities:

Celebrity management • Talent acquisition • Venue and decor selection • Event production • Marketing • PR and promotional activities during and after the event.

Organised a fashion show for a UAE-based designer. Worked on it single-handedly from conceptualisation to production and PR with television and press coverage.

GLOSS Magazine celebrated its 1 year anniversary in DUBAI. The event was hosted by Faiza Saleem. Celebrity guests gracing the event were the first issue cover star, Junaid Khan legendary actors Rubina Ashraf and Badar Khalil along with the queen of morning shows and actor Nadia Khan

GLOSS Magazine hosted a bloggers event in Dubai. The event was attended by well know bloggers, vloggers, designers and media personalities. The event was graced by famous actor and model Madiha Iftikar.

VOLUNTARY ACTIVITIES

Established a growing board gamers group. I organise weekly meetups, tournaments and activities where board game enthusiasts of all levels meet, socialise and indulge in some table top games.

Organiser of a Japanese / English language and culture exchange group. I plan various meetups where different individuals interact and learn about each others language and culture.
